Care & Repairs
Owlhead pieces are built to be used daily and to age over time. If your cardholder ever requires repair due to a construction issue, we’ll take care of it. Normal wear, patina, and marks are part of the material and not considered defects.
Occasional conditioning with a neutral leather conditioner will help maintain the leather over time.
Each First Edition cardholder is cut, stitched, and finished by hand in our Dearborn, Michigan workshop. We produce in small batches, prioritizing precision and longevity over speed or volume.
We source our leather from Conceria Walpier, a family-run tannery in tuscany known for its traditional tanning methods. This leather is selected for durability and aging, not uniformity—expect natural variation and a patina that develops with use.
Each First Edition cardholder is individually numbered as part of Owlhead’s initial production run. This numbering marks a specific moment in the brand’s early history and will not be repeated once the run is complete.
